DeltaV Cybersecurity

The 4-1/2 day DeltaV Cybersecurity course focuses on the DeltaV Security Manual and the practical implementation of the guidance provided within.  Students will learn to apply Emerson’s Defense-in-Depth strategies on their DeltaV systems. Course topics include DeltaV deployment guidelines and physical security, DeltaV area control network, communications security and remote access to DeltaV, active directory design and user account management, device hardening and event logging, software patching, and backup and recovery.  Students are encouraged to read the DeltaV Security Manual before attending class.

Audience: DeltaV system administrators or IT personnel responsible for implementing DeltaV security

Prerequisites: Course 7027 DeltaV System Administration or Course 7024 DeltaV Systems Administration: XP/Server 2003
