This 3-day course focuses on the various software that is used in the management of a DeltaV virtualization environment. Students will engage in workshops that will reinforce the material discussed to successfully run and maintain a virtualized DeltaV system. Topics include virtualization hardware setup, virtual machines, DeltaV virtual studio tools, thin clients, replication and disaster recovery, health monitoring and troubleshooting, and host patching and moving VMs.
Audience: System administration personnel maintaining DeltaV workstations on a virtual platform after installation
Prerequisites: Course 7024 DeltaV Systems Administration: XP/Server 2003, or Course 7027 DeltaV System Administration
