The Emerson Technology Expo, an annual event organized by Emerson, was held Wednesday, March 25, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh in Mars, PA. This event brings together customers, partners, and industry experts for a full day of hands‑on learning and collaboration. Attendees explore Emerson’s broad portfolio of measurement solutions and services through live demonstrations and interactive exhibits, gaining a clearer picture of how Emerson delivers end‑to‑end automation across diverse applications. The open exhibit format allows participants to move at their own pace, connect directly with experts, and discuss real‑world operational challenges.
ECI's Conlan Grossman, Business Development Manager for Industrial Software, attended the event. Conlan has been with ECI for seven years, holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, and is currently pursuing his MBA. When asked about the event he shared the following thoughts: “Bringing the entire Emerson portfolio together in one place, with live demos and hands‑on classes, helps customers clearly see Emerson as a true one‑stop, full‑automation provider. Engineers may design solutions on drawings, and technicians may work on individual devices in the field, but here they can see everything connected, ask questions, and even ‘break things’, without risking their plant.”
In addition to the exhibit experience, attendees participate in small‑group technical sessions focused on best practices, application solutions, and real‑world challenges. The event reinforces the value of hands‑on engagement and practical learning in helping customers confidently apply automation technologies in their operations.
